Help us to help young carers

Over 10% of the population are carers, with many people caring for others for 24 hours a day. Good quality, independent, advice, information, and emotional and practical support (such as taking a break) are essential to help carers to carry on caring, as well as having a life of their own.

Our continuing work to support young carers is dependant upon donations, fund-raising, and voluntary good-will.

Please help us to help young carers by:

Making a donation

We are entirely reliant on gifts, grants and fund-raising for our work to support young carers, so if you would like to support us, please make a donation using the button at the top of the page.

Gift Aid your donation will add a further 25% to your donation, at no extra cost to you (Donation Form). You can make a donation to us by cheque made payable to South & Vale Carers’ Centre at the address below. If you would like to set up a Standing Order, please contact us for further details. You can also make a donation online via the website, or use the button below.

Leave a Legacy

The future is unpredictable. The only way to be sure your wishes are met and your loved ones and the causes you care about are looked after, whatever happens, is to make a Will. It’s never too early and it’s easy to make changes to your Will to reflect your changing circumstances. New arrivals in the family, weddings, retirement and a host of other reasons make it important to update your will regularly.

Please read the our information document about what to do when making a Will. The document is available to download and read here.

Volunteering can be so rewarding and it doesn’t have to take up too much of your time.

How about a few hours a week supporting our local fundraising activities or publicising events to your friends, families and those where you live or helping our events or helping on our trips and activities. You may have some skills or experience that could help us achieve more for young carers, we’d love to hear from you … get in touch and find out more.

Thank You!
